Nicholas J. Williams

Crew Chief for Field Operations

Nicholas J. Williams serves as Crew Chief for Field Operations at Civil Southeast, leading on-site survey teams and managing field data collection to ensure precision across the firm's civil engineering and land surveying projects. Nick joined Civil Southeast in 2018 and brings more than 25 years of hands-on field surveying experience, having developed deep expertise across diverse terrains and project types.

Though his education is rooted in real-world experience rather than the classroom, Nick's quarter-century in the field has provided him with a comprehensive technical foundation. What he enjoys most about surveying is the variety — no two days look alike, and every site presents its own unique challenges and opportunities to problem-solve.

Outside of work, Nick is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and riding his sportbike. He is proud to be part of the Civil Southeast team and values the relationships he has built with colleagues since joining the firm.
